| Seamus, But we have to go, mate. Do you want Moody to turn us into something… un-human? Plus, he’s excellent at hexes. Maybe we can ask him about that one we were talking about? You know, that one. Meet you in the common room before we have to go? -Dean | |

| Ginny, Sorry, after having Susan freak out over seeing us talk to each other, I figured I should wait until I was alone to answer. I've been a bit off since I heard about my brother, but my parents still aren't talking. Seamus seems to think... well, it doesn't really matter right now. We still aren't for sure about anything. I'm sorry I missed practice. I know the team was a bit mad at me, but it shouldn't happen again. ~Dean P.S. Thanks for writing, Gin. I appreciate it. | |

| Seamus, You want me to sneak you your stash, don't you? I knew it. Do you really think you need to be drinking that in detention? Again? One of these days McGonagall is going to catch on, you know. You really think it could have been a hex, mate? Well, anyway, I'll see you back up in the dormitory and we can research it. If someone's after my brother I want to know about it. -Dean | |

| Seamus, What? I can’t believe… Why the hell did I forget about practice? The team is going to kill me, I know it. Did I miss anything important? I’ll just meet you back at the room. I’ve spent enough time in the library, and it really is about time we dipped into that stash. -Dean | |

| Seamus,
So, I finally got a letter back from my parents. They’re still not talking about what happened to Daniel, and I’m not sure what to do. What… what if it wasn’t an accident, you know? What if someone tired to hurt him and they just don’t want to tell me? I’m supposed to be there to stick up for him.
Anyway, where are you? I’ve been looking for you all afternoon, and I finally just decided to stay in the library. Need to do some homework every now and then, anyway. Susan still isn’t talking to me, and I don’t know what to do. I’m not even sure what I did anyway. Girls are all nuts.
Think we can dip into your stash tonight? I know it’s not our usual night, but I could definitely do with some relaxing right now.
See you soon?

| SUSAN! I just found your note under my bed. Is this why you aren’t talking to me? I saw you in the Great Hall earlier and you wouldn’t even look at me. I… I’m not quite sure. What did I do again? Sweetheart, whatever it is, I’m sure it’s not what you think. Just… talk to me? Let’s go take a walk down by the lake, eh? I think it’ll make you feel better. Love, Dean | |

| Hello there Ginny,
Sorry it's taken me so long to write, but... I needed some time to think about the things that you said. I won't go into anything here, as it'll just make me sulk even more and I really don't want a lecture from Seamus when he comes back if he sees me sulking...
I'm getting off topic.
Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for the talk. I know it's been awkward between us since we broke up everything happened, but it's nice to know I still have a friend in you. If you ever need me for anything, I'll be around. I'd never refuse the chance to return the favor.
Thank you, Ginny. I really mean it.

| Susan,
So, it's official. I've stayed behind. Still not sure if it was the brightest idea, but... I just couldn't stand being back there again. I'm so close to being done here and out on my own and away from all the people who don't understand me. I guess I'll just... have to write my brother. I'll send him some chocolate frogs. He'll like that.
Want to go for a walk down by the lake? I promise I'll save you from any potential bee attacks.
Love, Dean | |

| Seamus, Don't have too much fun without me, mate. And mind your mum. I don't want to have to heal your bum again after you start running your mouth at her. Just... hurry back, yeah? It's not going to be any fun without someone to sneak around with. -Dean | |

| Seamus,
Just wanted to let you know that I haven’t disappeared. Got a letter from my parents today. Apparently Daniel is in the hospital. He was hurt really bad in some sort of accident. They didn’t go into a lot of details, but from what they said it sounded pretty serious.
I… I’m not much feeling like company right now, so I’m hiding out in that abandoned classroom next to that statue of the witch that looks likes she has three tits. You know the one. But could you possibly bring me my Transfiguration notes? They’re sitting on my bed.
I appreciate it, mate.
